La semana pasada, Gerard Butler fue noticia al compartir en sus redes sociales las fotos de su hogar en Malibú que quedó en ruinas tras los incendios forestales que afectan a California desde hace varios días. 

Esta vez, lejos de su hogar, al actor compartió en Instagram una visita que realizó a unas escuelas en Haití, junto a Mary's Meals, una organización que busca combatir el hambre en el mundo. 

"Qué par de semanas tan agitadas. Animados hasta el infinito por estas hermosas almas que, a pesar de vivir en un país que ha pasado por tantas dificultades, no tienen nada más que amor para dar. Una verdadera lección para mí ahora mismo", escribió el intérprete.

Y continuó: "Estoy muy contento de estar aquí con esta fundación y ver el maravilloso trabajo que hacen. Es una idea tan simple que funciona muy bien. Lo he visto en acción en Liberia, y ahora en Haití", relató el artista.

What an eventful couple of weeks. Been cheered up to no end by these beautiful souls who despite living in a country that has gone through so much hardship, have nothing but love to give. A real lesson for me right now. So pleased to be in Haiti with @MarysMeals visiting schools to see the wonderful work they do. Communities are transformed by what @MarysMeals does to feed children in a place of education. It’s such a simple idea that works really well.
